With a distinguished legal career spanning over 15 years, Monogran brings a wealth of experience to his role as Head of the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at Gwina Attorneys, which he joined in June 2023. He previously practiced as a Senior Attorney at MMGS Inc., where he had served his articles from 2007 to 2009.
Monogran’s practice is focused on resolving complex commercial disputes. He specializes in contractual disagreements, shareholder and partnership conflicts, real estate litigation, intellectual property disputes, high-value commercial debt recovery, and the enforcement of judgments.
He is also well-versed in insolvency, business rescue proceedings, mediation, and arbitration. Furthermore, he provides strategic pre-dispute counsel and risk management advice, alongside legal advisory services for corporate commercial transactions.
He acts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including major financial and motor institutions, large corporate houses, commercial letting companies, and various government sectors and state-owned enterprises across South Africa and beyond.
Complementing his primary focus, Monogran also has cultivated experience in several ancillary legal fields, including labour law, legal compliance, forensics, deceased estates, and licensing law.
